Refurbishment and renovation building projects often present the greatest challenges to the Base team but we are known to rise to the occasion and have earned a reputation for completing contracted work to an exceptional standard both within budget and within expected timescales.
Historic restoration work features significantly in our portfolio thanks to Ben’s experience in this. Over the years, he has been involved in many projects at Grade II listed properties which have required particularly sensitive handling both in relation to the original structural features and, of course, the relevant local authority. In the past we have been the main point of contact with these bodies with regard to ensuring compliance of all necessary building and planning regulations, so relieving our client of the stress of the bureaucratic process.
Completed building projects highlighted in our Base Histories section represent a cross-section of the restoration projects we have undertaken to date. Whether a client is looking to fully restore the original feel of the property into the renovation work, or whether they want the addition of contemporary flair to enhance the property, the Base team is certain to deliver.
